Thank You Thank You Thank You
Many thanks to the ladies with the River City Roller Girls. Star City pulled out a win on Sunday during one of the last games of the season. Many thanks to all of those who helped out!
A huge congrats to our MVP’s … Star City’s Caddy Compton and Dark Vader with the Uncivil Warriors!
Also, the Star City Roller Girl’s would like to let our fans and friends know that Pirate Killings is currently in good hands. Pirate has a condition called Arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in her left temporal lobe. She’s had this her whole life and became aware of her condition back in February of this year. She’s currently under going radiation to help treat the growth, but that takes time. If you would like to learn more about Pirate click HERE.
Star City sends positive vibes to Pirate Killings and all the ladies with the River City Roller Girls.

SEPT Q & A
Q: What is your favorite position?
My favorite position is B3 or Pivot.
Q: What keeps you coming back?
What keeps me coming back is the amazing women within this organization. I would never have imagined the family I found with Star City!
Q: What is your favorite derby memory on track?
My favorite on track memory is probably taking out Noriepi, but she got me back a few jams later.
Q: Favorite derby memory off track?
My favorite off track memory would have to be the away trips…we learn so much about each other…”Do NOT step out and meet Jesus today…” I will never forget Hunter and Shelley dying laughing over this and Betty and Ivy finding out I wasn’t BSing them!!!
Q: How did you get your name?
Well…while sitting at an after party at Quaker Steak & Ale … I was trying to think of a personable derby name and none other than Martial Brady bursts out with Tarhellion…that is the only reason you miss roller derby practice…if they are playing!!!
